Chicken Fingers with Sohar Chips

Ingredients:

  1. 1 large egg - lightly beaten
  2. 1 fat garlic clove – finely chopped
  3. ½ teaspoon (or less) chili powder
  4. 1 cup finely crushed Sohar Chips
  5. ½ cup bread crumbs
  6. ¼ cup Parmesan cheese - grated
  7. 1 boneless chicken breast - cut into thin strips
  8. Salt to taste

Method:

  • Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
  • Break the egg in a shallow bowl; add egg, garlic, chili powder and salt; whisk it all together and leave it aside.
  • Place the crushed Sohar chips, bread crumbs and grated cheese in another shallow bowl.
  • Dip the chicken strips, individually, in egg mixture, before transferring them to the chips mixture.
  • Pat the strips to coat them evenly with the chips mixture.
  • Arrange the strips on a greased baking sheet or the wire rack.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until it turns golden brown in color.
  • Alternately, deep fry the strips and serve with the dip of your choice.
