Ingredients:
- 1 large egg - lightly beaten
- 1 fat garlic clove – finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon (or less) chili powder
- 1 cup finely crushed Sohar Chips
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese - grated
- 1 boneless chicken breast - cut into thin strips
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
- Break the egg in a shallow bowl; add egg, garlic, chili powder and salt; whisk it all together and leave it aside.
- Place the crushed Sohar chips, bread crumbs and grated cheese in another shallow bowl.
- Dip the chicken strips, individually, in egg mixture, before transferring them to the chips mixture.
- Pat the strips to coat them evenly with the chips mixture.
- Arrange the strips on a greased baking sheet or the wire rack.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until it turns golden brown in color.
- Alternately, deep fry the strips and serve with the dip of your choice.
